Sauna & Cold Plunge Safety
Please observe the following guidelines carefully:
Sauna and river use should be approached slowly and mindfully.
Users must sit on a towel at all times while using the sauna, regardless of level of dress or undress, to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and respect for the shared space. Do not use the sauna or cold plunge while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Do not use the sauna if pregnant or if you have heart conditions, blood pressure issues, circulatory conditions, seizure disorders, or other medical concerns without consulting a physician first.
Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous, disoriented, or unwell.
Stay hydrated before, during, and after sauna use.
Do not exceed your personal limits with heat or cold exposure.
River conditions vary naturally and may include slippery rocks, currents, uneven footing, or cold temperatures.
Guests should exercise extreme caution near and within the river.
Diving, rough play, or reckless behavior is not permitted.
No glass is permitted in or near sauna or river areas.
Wellness & Reiki Sessions
Reiki, wellness offerings, and related sessions provided at StoneWood are intended for relaxation, personal reflection, energetic support, and general wellbeing.
These offerings:
are not medical treatment,
do not diagnose illness,
and are not a substitute for licensed medical or mental health care.
You are responsible for communicating any relevant health conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or concerns before your session.
By participating in a Reiki treatment session you give consent and understand that the services provided are intended to provide relaxation and reduce stress. Reiki treatments are given fully clothed on a massage table and are not considered massage therapy.
It is understood that the services provided during Reiki and/or Herbal sessions are in no way a substitute for a traditional medical treatment or advice. Reiki practitioners will not offer any diagnosis or recommend any medical treatment or medication. Reiki is a complement and support to traditional medical or psychological care.
Long-held imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions to facilitate the level of relaxation needed to activate the body’s natural regenerative abilities and bring the system back into balance.
You agree and understand that participation in Reiki sessions is voluntary and that at any time during the session you can choose to end your participation. You also understand that Reiki’s effects can extend past the treatment session and that you may experience physical, energetic, and/or emotional shifts or sensations following the session.
You understand that any information exchanged during any session is intended to be educational in nature and is to be used at your own discretion. You also understand that any information you share during any session with Beautiful Sentience and Angela Highsmith is strictly confidential and will not be shared with any other person or entity without your permission.
Finally, you understand that by providing this informed consent you are assuming full responsibility for participating in any Reiki Treatment Session and you hold harmless your chosen Reiki Practitioner, Beautiful Sentience, and the facility/location where the services are provided.
Respect for the Space
StoneWood is a quiet, restorative environment rooted in mutual respect for land, people, and atmosphere.
Guests agree to:
move carefully and respectfully throughout the land,
follow all posted or verbal safety instructions,
respect quiet hours and shared spaces,
and leave the land as they found it.
StoneWood reserves the right to end a visit at any time if behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to the environment or others.
Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own belongings and vehicles. StoneWood is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
